The Devils assigned Wendt to ECHL Adirondack on Tuesday.

Wendt received his first NHL call-up Friday to participate in practice with the Devils due to the Olympic Games. The 25-year-old forward will now link back up with the Thunder, with whom he's registered four goals and 13 points across 16 outings in 2025-26. He also has two helpers over 12 games with AHL Utica this season.
