Devils' Timo Meier: Facing short-term absence

Meier (undisclosed) will be out in the short term, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Meier will be evaluated when the Devils get back home. They play Saturday versus the Rangers, but it doesn't seem like the winger will be available for that contest. After that, the Devils' next game is Wednesday in Detroit.
