Maple Leafs' Cade Webber: Signs entry-level contract

Webber inked a two-year, entry level contract with Toronto on Thursday.

The Maple Leafs waited until after their regular season was completed to make the signing official. Webber is a defensive defenseman who will be adept at clearing the front of the net due to his six-foot, seven-inch size. He could see action in the playoffs should the Maple Leafs need help in front of their own goal.
