Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Sent back to AHL

Benoit was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.

Benoit has bounced between levels during the first week of the season. He has been scratched in each of the Maple Leafs' first three games, but they may continue to shuffle him up and down to provide defensive depth while managing a tight salary cap.
