Panthers' Noel Acciari: Undergoes successful surgery

Acciari has undergone successful surgery for his undisclosed injury, David Dwork of Local 10 Miami reports.

The Panthers have yet to release an expected timetable for Acciari's recovery, but it's safe to assume the 29-year-old forward will be sidelined long term while rehabbing from surgery. With Acciari out of the picture for the foreseeable future, look for rookie Anton Lundell to center Florida's third line to start the season.
