Red Wings' Carter Rowney: Could miss season

Rowney (undisclosed) may not return during the 2021-22 season, Kevin Allen of Detroit Hockey Now reports.

Rowney hasn't played since March 4 when he was injured blocking a shot against the Lightning. The 32-year-old tallied six points and 36 hits through 26 appearances this season. He's set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
