The Sharks will place Kane (suspension) on waivers Sunday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
The forward, who was suspended 21 games on Oct. 18, will presumably clear waivers and be assigned to AHL San Jose. Other off-ice issues have complicated Kane's future and made it unclear whether he'll ever take the ice for the Sharks again.
