You know the saying "two's company but three's a crowd"?

Well the list of young guns with multiple PGA Tour wins got a little bit more crowded on Sunday at the Humana Challenge.

Patrick Reed used three straight 63s earlier in the week and a seven-shot lead going into the final round to go along with his 71 on Sunday to join Rory McIlroy and Harris English as the only golfers under the age of 25 with multiple PGA Tour wins.

The win for Reed was his second in as many seasons and he nailed a long birdie putt at No. 15 before closing with three pars to finish at 28 under and hold off Ryan Palmer by two strokes and Zach Johnson and Justin Leonard by three each.

He also became the first wire-to-wire winner at the Humana Challenge since Rik Massengale did it in 1977.

Reed was shaky for a lot of Sunday's round after getting off to a hot start with a birdie at No. 2. That was followed by a barrage of bogeys and birdies that left him at just even par through 14 holes with Johnson and Palmer charging.

Then Reed hit the bomb at No. 15 (see video at top) and sealed the deal in the desert.

He knew his 63s wouldn't mean much if he didn't close.

"I mean all that matters at the end is at the end of Sunday," said Reed on Saturday night.

It wasn't exactly David Duval shooting 59 to win a tournament but Reed did what he needed to to hold off a bevy of golfers going incredibly low on a course that allows it.

In fact, Reed's round was tied for the 13th-worst on Sunday of all the golfers who survived Saturday's cut.

No matter, though, he's part of the crowd now.

A Justin Leonard, come on down! The T3 was Leonard's best finish since a second place showing at the 2011 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.
A Zach Johnson has become a top 10 machine. He shot a 62 and actually looked like he was going to have a last-second backdoor victory. Alas, this is the only tournament on Tour where 25 under doesn't get it done.
B Sneaky tournament from Bill Haas. He had about as under-the-radar a 65-66-67-67 tournament as one can have.
C Feels weird to give Rickie Fowler a "C" for being 16 under but that's barely halfway home at this tourney. He played pretty good in his first outing of 2014, I expect him to play great at the Farmers Insurance Open next weekend.  
D Two rounds in the 70s from Brandt Snedeker! What a hack! Not really, he'll get it rolling going into Augusta just like he has the last few years.
