The Masters is just around the corner (29 days, to be exact) and we're pretty excited. There's plenty of golf to be played between now and then but we also want to keep you informed about what's going on with Augusta.
The Masters is a timeless event and has been captured tirelessly over the years. Most beautifully, at times, in black and white.
Here are three great historical black and white photographs from past Masters tournaments at Augusta National.

I love this one because I feel like it really captures the way the tournament was held in the 1960s. The old school cameras, the crowd. It's really a terrific shot.

This one came from the 2009 Masters and it's as gorgeous a black and white photo as you're going to find from Augusta. Just perfect.

The things I would do for that sign on the bottom of the stand Jack Burke Jr. is leaning on. People love to talk about what a throwback Augusta is (and it is) but it's not so much a throwback that these signs are still laying around on the grounds. Though I wish they were.
