Beef squashed? Bryce Harper, Papelbon are reportedly 'fine'
According to the Washington Post, Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon are fine with each other after a dugout fight in late September.
One of the lasting images down the stretch in the disappointment that was the 2015 Washington Nationals' season was closer Jonathan Papelbon and likely NL MVP Bryce Harper scuffling in the dugout.
Surely no baseball fans have forgotten, but how about this image to job your memory?

Still no? OK then ...
Papelbon would eventually be suspended for the remainder of the season (he accepted a suspension for throwing at Manny Machado's head and the Nats took care of the remaining games on the schedule).
With the two still under contract for next season, how are things going to be between them under new skipper Dusty Baker?
According to a Washington Post report, it won't linger:
“Papelbon and Harper are fine together,” one person inside the Natioanls, referring to Harper’s phone call. “Harp just wants to win. All he cares about is that we have a 45-save relief pitcher who’s going to help us.”
Fights between teammates aren't all too uncommon, it's just that most don't occur in the middle of the dugout on camera. The majority of the time the players move on with their business afterward and that seems to have happened here. Ultimately, though, how the two deal with each other when adversity sets in during the regular season will determine whether or not this is 100 percent true.
One item of note that is touched upon in the Post article is that Baker was once in the dugout when Barry Bonds and Jeff Kent famously sparred. Only he was breaking it up and getting the players to stand down. During the Harper-Papelbon flap, former manager Matt Williams was nowhere to be found and later said he didn't know what had happened.
