Carlos Gomez made his Astros debut Friday against the Diamondbacks. Gomez started in center field and hit second behind leadoff hitter Jose Altuve.

Gomez was acquired in a trade with the Brewers on Thursday. He is back in the AL for the first time since 2009. He spent the 2008-09 seasons with the Twins before being traded to Milwaukee in Nov. 2009.
