Braves pitcher David Carpenter was hit with a loss Saturday, giving up one earned run on two hits and one walk in two-thirds of an inning in his team's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Carpenter (4-1) recorded the last out of the 10th inning and remained in to pitch the 11th, but after retiring the first batter of the inning, he gave up a single, a walk and another single to give the Diamondbacks a walkoff win. He owns a 4.01 ERA and 29:7 K:BB ratio in 24 2/3 innings.
