Glen Perkins earns win vs. Rangers Tuesday

Twins closer Glen Perkins picked up a win Tuesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in his team's 4-3 victory over the Rangers.

Perkins (2-0) gave up one hit in his scoreless frame and left with his team down 3-2, but they were able to score two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning for the victory. He has 3.09 ERA and 31:3 K:BB ratio in 23 1/3 innings.
