Padres outfield prospect Hunter Renfroe has managed eight multi-hit outings in 16 games since joining the roster as Class A Eugene. The 2013 first-round pick (13th overall) is batting .333 with a .561 slugging percentage and .932 OPS since turning pro.
Renfroe has three home runs, six doubles, eight RBI and 14 runs.
"[The adjustment has] really not been that big, it's just been the difference between the [Southeastern Conference] umpires' strike zone and these guys' strike zone, which is a little different. The mental aspect of playing every day is a big difference and just getting used to the wooden bat," he said, per MLB.com.
