Jared Hughes optioned to Triple-A

The Pirates have optioned reliever Jared Hughes to Triple-A Indianapolis, MLB.com reports. In 26 1/3 innings for Pittsburgh, Hughes posted a 4.44 ERA and 21 strikeouts against 15 walks.
