Pirates acquire Steven Brault from Orioles

The Pirates announced that they acquired LHP Steven Brault from the Orioles.

Brault is the player to be named later in the Jan. 27 trade that sent OF Travis Snider to the Orioles. The Pirates also received LHP Stephen Tarpley.

Brault was an eleventh-round pick of the Orioles in 2013. In two seasons as a starting pitcher at Class A, he had a 12-10 record with a 2.61 ERA.
