Rays C Rene Rivera has average peak with two-hit Saturday

The Mendoza Line is suddenly in sight for Rays catcher Rene Rivera, who hasn't been hot all year, but is now at least warm.

Rivera slapped a double and single - off Astros ace Dallas Keuchel, no loss - in a Saturday victory. The latter hit gave his team a 2-0 lead.

He is now 8-for-19 over his last five games and has raised his average to .185, its highest point of the season.
