The Mets head into the Winter Meetings with a strong preference to trade first baseman Ike Davis and retain first baseman Lucas Duda, the New York Daily News reports.
Five teams have reportedly contacted the Mets about Davis this offseason, and they'll continue to shop him this week during the meetings. He hit .205/.326/.334 with nine home runs and 33 RBI in 317 at-bats last season after hitting 32 home runs the previous year.
