Sean Burnett undergoes Tommy John surgery

Angels pitcher Sean Burnett underwent Tommy John surgery this week, according to the Los Angeles Times on Friday. Burnett was placed on the disabled list Wednesday, after facing just three batters in his return from elbow surgery. He was placed on the 60-day disabled list and will miss the remainder of the season.
