This Rays prospect doesn't care for Bryce Harper's hat
Bryce Harper recently wore a hat that read 'Make Baseball Fun Again,' and Rays prospect Brent Honeywell isn't a fan.
The Internetter with a nose for controversy will recall that Nationals philosopher-king Bryce Harper -- pursuant to his remarking that baseball is "a tired sport" because of its hostility toward individualism -- recently wore a hat that read, "Make Baseball Fun Again."

Implicit? That baseball, which -- per Harper's call-to-action lid -- needs to be re-infused with fun, is not presently fun. As you might imagine given the main character and that implicit message, this did not sit well with wide swaths of the People of the Internet. One such naysayer was Rays pitching prospect Brent Honeywell. Fire-tweets incoming ...
"Make baseball fun again" it must not be too fun being one of the youngest super stars. It must not be fun to face the best of the best.

And ...
Baseball is not a "tired" game either. It's been played 155 years and people still want to play it. Real "clown move"

Honeywell goes on to tweet that, while he has no desire to plunk Harper or anything like that, he would indeed love to face him someday.
The 21-year-old right-hander (and 2014 second-rounder) has put up strong numbers thus far in his professional career but has yet to rise above the high Class A level. Perhaps one day reasonably soon, he'll get his wish -- likely not long after Harper signs a $500 million free agent contract with the division-rival Yankees.
By the way, you can now buy one of those hats for yourself. Make discretionary income fun again, people.
