Troy Tulowitzki gets night off for Rockies

Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game. 

Tulowitzki has started the last seven games and 12 of the last 13. 

He's replaced by Daniel Descalso, who gets his 14th start at short. 

Tulowitzki is riding a 21-game hitting streak, the longest current streak in MLB, which will take a pause until he returns to the field for Colorado.
