Cardinals pitcher Tyler Lyons will start the team's second spring game, according to MLB.com.
Carlos Martinez has been tabbed for the first game. Lyons split time between the rotation and the bullpen last season, but the team wants to get most of their pitchers stretched out. While Lyons is a long shot to break camp in the rotation, he could easily be transitioned to the bullpen with a good spring.
Lyons posted a 4.75 ERA in 53 innings last season.
