Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke continued posting strong numbers while picking up a win Saturday, giving up two earned runs on six hits and three walks in seven innings while striking out eight in his team's 6-2 win over the Giants.

Greinke (6-1) has now surrendered two earned runs or less in eight starts to open the season, as well as 15 starts (including playoffs) to end the 2013 season. Both runs Saturday came in the second inning, but Greinke was able to cruise from there. He owns a 2.38 ERA and 55:10 K:BB ratio in 45 1/3 innings. Greinke will take on the Diamondbacks in Arizona Friday.
