Braves' Grant Holmes: Falls short of five-inning mark
Holmes allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus Philadelphia on Sunday.
Holmes threw 50 of 81 pitches for strikes. He was pulled before having to face Kyle Schwarber a third time in the contest after Schwarber hit a two-run blast off Holmes in the first inning. This was Holmes' second straight start where he fell short of the five-inning mark, denying him a chance to collect his second win of the year. Through five starts, he has a 3.42 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 21:11 K:BB through 26.1 innings. The right-hander's next start is projected to be a rematch at home versus the Phillies.

Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Clubs seventh homer
Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Atlanta.
Schwarber had gone just 2-for-16 with eight strikeouts over his previous four games. He broke that slump with a first-inning blast that accounted for all of Philadelphia's runs in this game. Schwarber is having a season that matches his usual production -- he's batting just .227 over 21 contests, but he's posted a .936 OPS, seven homers, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and four doubles. He has yet to attempt a stolen base after going 10-for-12 in steals in the 2025 regular season.

It was the 37th career multi-homer game by the All-Star slugger and his first of 2026. Schwarber also crossed the plate a season-high four times Monday en route to totaling a season-most eight bases. He's hit safely in eight of his 11 outings in April, hitting .278 with four long balls, three doubles, nine RBI and 10 runs scored across his last 36 at-bats.

Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Launches towering homer
Schwarber went 1-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored and a solo home run during Friday's 10-1 win over the Rockies.
Schwarber has had a relatively quiet start to the 2026 campaign, but he had a loud swing Friday. He launched a towering 460-foot home run in the fifth inning as part of a day on which he reached base three times. Despite batting only .200 on the season and having no multi-hit games so far, he sports a .975 OPS thanks to the fact that three of his five hits on the season are home runs.

Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Slugs Opening Day homer
Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Thursday's 5-3 win over the Pirates.
The All-Star designated hitter tagged Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi in the first inning to open the scoring Thursday. Schwarber hit second in Philadelphia's Opening Day lineup, suggesting that's how manager Rob Thomson plans to deploy him going forward. Schwarber racked up a career-high 56 homers and 132 RBI over 604 regular-season at-bats in 2025.
