Grizzlies forward Jon Leuer continued his string of solid play Monday, with his first career double-double in a 94-85 win over the Magic.
Leuer scored 16 points on 7 of 14 shooting, the third time he has reached double figures in the last four games. He added a career-high 12 rebounds as well in just 27 minutes of action.
Leuer has stepped in to play a bigger-than-expected role the Grizzlies in Marc Gasol's absence. He is averaging 13.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game over the last five, in just 27.2 minutes.
