Cavaliers superstar LeBron James revised his previous claim by revealing that he did receive stitches on a cut to his head sustained in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday. He added that there was no need to initiate concussion protocol.
"I had a slight headache, which I think every last one of you guys would probably have if you ran into a camera," he told the media gathering following the game. "You might have a little bit more than that. But I didn't go through any protocol. I'm fine."
A team official stated that the league concussion protocol begins only if there is a change in the player's mental status and such was not the case with James.
