It turns out having LeBron James and the MVP in the NBA Finals is good for business. We noted a few days ago that this matchup between James' Cleveland Cavaliers and Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors looked like it was going to be the most expensive Finals to attend in recent history, and that hasn't changed with Game 1 just three days away. Here's the latest comparison from our partners at TicketCity:

You'd expect that, with these particular franchises, there would be a heck of a lot of demand. I'm not sure that you'd expect a gulf quite this big, though, when it comes to average sale prices. If you're trying to get to a game in Oakland or Cleveland, I hope you've made your fortune or have some sort of connection.

While we've seen beautiful basketball in the last couple of NBA Finals, this is a different level of buzz. I hate to say it, but the San Antonio Spurs simply don't inspire the same sort of excitement from the average fan that we'll see now with James and Curry involved. Here's hoping the games don't disappoint.
