Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Tuesday ostensibly to promote NBA 2K16, but he ended up in a completely different kind of game. After complaining that Curry's name shows up first in Google when you type in "Stephen," Colbert challenged the MVP to shoot socks into a laundry hamper.

"Here's the deal," Colbert told his guest. "Our moms are coming to visit. We've gotta get our dirty laundry off the floor and into the hamper down there." And then they went at it.

I know these late-night TV segments need to be efficient, but I could have gone for a longer version of that competition. It was riveting.
