76ers' Paul George: Lethal from deep in return
George recorded 28 points (11-22 FG, 6-13 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block over 26 minutes during the 76ers' 157-137 win over the Bulls on Wednesday.
With Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Kelly Oubre (elbow) both sidelined, the Sixers got a much-needed boost Wednesday with the returns of George Joel Embiid (oblique). George didn't score his first points until the second quarter, but the veteran forward came alive in the second half, pouring in 23 of his points over the final two quarters. George demonstrated his prowess on both ends of the floor and played nearly the entire third quarter, which is a good sign after after he had missed the previous 25 games while serving a suspension. With George and Embiid back in the fold and Maxey and Oubre close to returning, the 76ers are on track to be at full health heading into the Eastern Conference playoffs.

76ers' Paul George: On track to return Wednesday
Philadelphia head coach Nick Nurse said that George won't require a ramp-up period and will be ready to play Wednesday against the Bulls after completing his 25-game suspension, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports.
George served the final game of his suspension in Monday's 123-103 loss to the Thunder and is now eligible to return to the court Wednesday for his first appearance since Jan. 29. Nurse appeared confident that George will hit the ground running, as he noted Monday that the star forward will essentially be a full go in his first game back. The Fresno State product was averaging 16.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 27 games before being slapped with a 25-game ban for violating the league's anti-drug program.

76ers' Paul George: Suspended 25 games
The NBA suspended George for 25 games Saturday for violating the league's Anti-Drug program.
The suspension will start with Saturday's game against the Pelicans and will keep George off the floor until late March. When healthy, George made an impact as the team's third option behind Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, so George's extended absence is a big blow to a Sixers team in the midst of a crowded Eastern Conference playoff race. In George's absence, Dominick Barlow figures to be the top candidate to enter the 76ers' starting lineup, and Kelly Oubre should also take on an expanded role for Philadelphia.

76ers' Paul George: Paces Philadelphia in win
George tallied 32 points (11-21 FG, 9-15 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 139-122 win over the Bucks.
George got into a rhythm from three-point range, knocking down a season-high nine triples en route to a game-high 32 points. He had shot just 29.6 percent from downtown in his previous 10 appearances this month. The veteran forward was productive across the board in his return from a one-game absence, contributing at least 30 points, five rebounds and five assists for the first time this season and for just the third time in his tenure with the 76ers. He has reached the 30-point threshold twice this season.

76ers' Paul George: Expected to play
