2013 Super Bowl Odds, Week 17: The final countdown
Let's look at the 2013 Super Bowl odds heading into Week 17 of the season.
Here we are, heading into the final week of the season and things look slightly different than when we started, huh?
The Colts were 75-1 to open the season and now are locked for the playoffs, but only sit at 50-1 to win the title. Understandably, no one's loading on a team with a negative point differential on the year.
The Redskins have one game to get in the playoffs (although they can backdoor their way in beforehand if the Bears and Vikings lose) and after opening at 65-1 and then dropping to 35-1.
The Seahawks opened up at 50-1 and saw their odds drop dramatically before a recent offensive onslaught got them to 8-1 (!).
The real difference comes with a group of teams that had "good" odds to win the Super Bowl: the Saints (18-1), Eagles (14-1), Steelers (22-1), Lions (28-1), Chargers (30-1) and Jets (40-1) are all ruled out with a week to go.
