Aaron Rodgers humbled by Magic Johnson's Larry Bird comparison
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers thinks it's pretty cool to be compared to Larry Bird, but it would be even cooler to be compared to Vlade Divac.

Late in the second half of Green Bay's 53-20 win over Philadelphia on Sunday, basketball Hall of Famer Magic Johnson took to Twitter to let the world know how impressed he was with Aaron Rodgers, who threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers win.
In a series of tweets, Johnson compared Rodgers to Larry Legend himself.
Aaron Rodgers reminds me of my good friend and rival Larry Bird. Aaron & Larry have similar qualities.

Both Aaron and Larry are great leaders, both are competitive & most importantly make their teammates better, all while making it look easy!

So the highest compliment I can give Aaron Rodgers, the best QB in the NFL, is to compare him to 3x NBA Champion Larry Bird!

During his weekly radio show with ESPN Wisconsin on Tuesday, Rodgers was asked about Johnson's tweets.
"To be compared to Larry, who I know Magic has the utmost amount of respect for, is way too big of a compliment," Rodgers said, via ESPN.com. "And I really appreciate that from Magic. I have a ton of respect for him and his career and what he's done, and the philanthropic things he's done off the court, as well."
Rodgers also added that he was humbled by the compliment.
"Larry, like the nickname suggests, is a legend," Rodgers said. "The comparison really is very humbling for me."
However, Johnson could've humbled Rodgers some more if he would have just compared him to the NBA's greatest Serbian player of all-time.
"The only one that could possibly compare would be maybe if he had said something about Vlade Divac," Rodgers said. "But I'll take Larry Bird."
Rodgers will take a Bird comparison, but that probably won't be enough to get Rodgers to remove Divac from his NBA Mount Rushmore.
“@bturenne21: @AaronRodgers12 what's your NBA Mount Rushmore?” Vlade Divac, Juwan Howard, Drew Gooden, Fred Hoiberg.
