James Van Der Beek jokes Packers called him for QB help
Former fake quarterback James Van Der Beek joked on Twitter that the Packers called him for quarterback help.

How bad are things in Green Bay at the quarterback position right now? Pretty freaking bad. They'll be starting three different quarterbacks (Aaron Rodgers, Seneca Wallace, Scott Tolzien) in three straight weeks, the first time that's happened for them since 1987 (when Randy Wright, Don Majkowski, Alan Risher all got the nod).
It's so bad, in fact, that actor/funny guy James Van Der Beek joked last night that the Packers called him for a tryout.
I'm not saying the #Packers are desperate, but they just called to ask if I could actually play quarterback.

Van Der Beek, of course, played Jonathan "Mox" Moxon in Varsity Blues. But if the Packers were really THAT desperate for a quarterback, wouldn't they call up Paul Walker instead? Mox was a skilled, scrappy guy, but he doesn't WANT YOUR LIFE.
Everyone knows Lance Harbor is the better talent.
