The Rams made one of the surprise moves of the NFL Draft when they selected running back Todd Gurley at No. 10 overall from Georgia. Running back wasn't considered a need in St. Louis, but the Rams picked the player who might be the most talented of this class. Gurley does have some issues this season when it comes to his Fantasy value. He's coming off a torn ACL from November, and he might not be ready when the season starts. The Rams should still give some work to Tre Mason, who played well for them as a rookie in 2014. The offensive line is also less-than stellar, and St. Louis plays in a tough division with the NFC West. It's hard to argue with Gurley's ability when healthy, and we hope he's ready for training camp. He had 123 carries for 911 yards and nine touchdowns and 12 catches for 57 yards last season in just six games for the Bulldogs. He should be productive, but Fantasy owners shouldn't overvalue him coming into the year. We like San Diego's Melvin Gordon as the better rookie running back for 2015, and Gurley should be considered a low-end No. 2 running back in seasonal leagues. In rookie-only drafts you should consider Gurley a top five overall pick, and we just hope he's healthy for Week 1 to showcase his skills.
