The Titans have a new head coach, a new franchise quarterback, a new offense called the "exotic smashmouth," and a new controlling owner, so it might be time for the franchise to update its uniforms.

Amy Adams Strunk -- the Titans' controlling owner, not the actress -- says she's considering changing the Titans uniforms. That change wouldn't happen until 2018, but she's serious enough about it that she's talked to the league about it.

"We can refresh and they definitely could use a little updating, but it takes a while to get that done," Strunk told ESPN.com. "I kind of visited with the league office about it a little bit a couple months ago. But we got so busy that I didn't go back to it.

"I'm going to go back. It can't happen this year. I think it's a two-year thing."

Strunk didn't initially mention changing the logo, but when ESPN.com told her that fans prefer the team's secondary logo over the primary logo, she seemed intrigued by the possibility.

"They like the sword? Interesting," she said. "That's interesting. It's a thought. I'd like to hear what the fans are saying."

It's true. Thanks to "Game of Thrones," the sword is cool again. The "flaming thumbtack" still is not.

But, to be clear, Strunk didn't reveal just how much she wants to change. She didn't get into any specifics.

"Well, we started out with changing the carpet here," she said, pointing to the team's remodeled facility. "Never say never. I haven't really gone there enough to know. ... Maybe a lot. Maybe just a fresh up."

She did, however, tell ESPN.com that she likes the current color scheme. So, here's an idea, which keeps the same primary colors and adds the sword onto the helmet, beause an offense called the "exotic smashmouth" definitely deserves to be helmed by a bunch of players wearing swords on their heads.

On a somewhat related note, Titans fans certainly can't criticize their owner's involvement with the team. In addition to mulling uniform changes, Strunk has been attending training camp, which is something the players have noticed.

"She's made a lot of changes around here," said receiver Kendall Wright, per WKRN-TV in Nashville. "I mean, this place looks totally different from when I first got here, and for her to be coming up here, watching practice and just being around, it's good for us and good for the organization."
