Evans was waived by Seattle on Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Evans was let go after the team added Juwon Young and J.T. Barrett to the roster. The 26-year-old hasn't seen action in a regular-season game since notching 23 tackles for the Packers in 2017.

Packers' Marwin Evans: Accounts for six tackles in 2016
Evans recorded six tackles across 16 games played in 2016.
Evans barely saw any playing time on defense despite all the injury woes the Packers' secondary endured. Instead, he logged the majority of his snaps on special teams, where he was a mainstay from Week 3 on. With Micah Hyde (shoulder) headed to the open market, Evans figures to have a slight chance of carving out a reserve safety role this summer.
