Coyle signed a deal to join the Colts' practice squad Tuesday.
Coyle spent the offseason with the Steelers, but he was waived with an injury settlement in mid-August. He'll now serve as emergency depth along the Colts' offensive line.

The Steelers waived Coyle (shoulder) from IR with an injury settlement Tuesday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
Coyle cleared waivers on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction report. Once back to full health, Coyle will be free to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league.

Coyle is one of four players to sign a one-year deal with the Steelers on Thursday, alongside Breon Borders, John Keenoy and Arrion Springs. He'll compete for a depth role along the offensive line.
