The Jets waived Riley (undisclosed) with an injury designation Thursday.
The 25-year-old wide receiver has yet to appear in a regular-season game in the NFL. He recorded 33 catches for 635 yards and five touchdowns at Florida A&M back in 2023 before going undrafted and signing with the Jets.

Marcus Riley: Waived by Gang Green
Riley (undisclosed) was waived by the Jets with an injury designation Friday.
Riley was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in April, but the wideout is now dealing with an unspecified issue. In the event that he clears waivers, he's a candidate to revert to IR, barring an injury settlement.

Jets' Marcus Riley: Reverts to IR
Riley (undisclosed) reverted to the Jets' injured reserve Saturday after clearing waivers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Riley will now be forced to sit out for the entire 2024 season unless he and the Jets come to terms on an injury settlement. In his final season at Florida A&M, the undrafted wide receiver accumulated 33 catches for 635 yards and five touchdowns across 11 games.
