Top Giants News

  • Giants' Younghoe Koo: Misses both FGA vs. Washington

Koo missed both of his field-goal attempts and went 3-for-3 on extra-point tries during the Giants' 29-21 loss to the Commanders on Sunday.

Both of Koo's field-goal attempts Sunday came from 50-plus yards and both missed to the left. It was Koo's first field-goal misses in five games with the Giants, and he's now 4-for-6 on field-goal attempts and 11-for-12 on extra-point tries with New York.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Leading receiver in Week 15 loss

Johnson caught three of four targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders.

The second-year tight end led the Giants in receiving yards on the day, as he topped 70 yards for the third time in the last five games. Johnson is quietly having a breakout campaign despite the struggles of the rest of the team, putting together a 45-528-5 line on 72 targets through 14 contests. He'll look to keep rolling in a Week 16 clash with the Vikings.

  • Giants' Darius Slayton: Four catches against Commanders

Slayton caught four of 10 targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 29-21 loss to Washington.

The 10 targets were a season high for Slayton, but the volume didn't lead to much production. The veteran wideout has a mediocre 30-460-1 line on 50 targets through 11 games on the season, giving him little fantasy appeal heading into a Week 16 meeting with the Vikings.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Snags TD in Week 15 loss

Robinson caught five of 10 targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders.

The fourth-year slot receiver connected with Jaxson Dart for a 16-yard TD in the fourth quarter as the Giants tried to mount a late comeback. Robinson has four touchdowns on the season, and two of them have come in the last three games, a stretch in which he's posted a 21-244-2 line on 32 targets. He'll look to keep rolling in Week 16 against the Vikings.

  • Giants' Devin Singletary: Quiet against Washington

Singletary carried the ball five times for 13 yards and caught his only target for one yard in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders.

The veteran RB led the backfield with 102 scrimmage yards and a score in Week 13 prior to the Giants' bye, but Singletary took a back seat to Tyrone Tracy (97 scrimmage yards and two TDs) in this one. Sunday's showing ended a stretch of three straight games in which Singletary had produced at least 40 rushing yards while making three trips to the end zone, he'll look to rebound in Week 16 against the Vikings.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Two TDs in loss to Washington

Tracy carried the ball 15 times for 70 yards and a touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 27 yards and a second TD in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders.

One game after Devin Singletary led the Giants backfield with 102 scrimmage yards and a score, it was Tracy's turn to pop, as he ran for a 12-yard TD in the second quarter and caught an 18-yard toss from Jaxson Dart in the third. The two touchdowns were Tracy's first trips to the end zone since Week 7, when he recorded his only other score of the season. He'll try to build on this performance in Week 16 against the Vikings.

  • Giants' Jaxson Dart: Another concussion check in loss

Dart completed 20 of 36 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders. He added 63 rushing yards on nine carries.

Once again, the rookie quarterback took a hit that forced him out of the game to get checked for a concussion, but he quickly returned to the game after being replaced by Jameis Winston for two plays in the fourth quarter. Per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, it's the fifth time this season Dart's been sent to the blue tent to be evaluated for a concussion, although he's only been diagnosed with one. In two games since his return from that two-week absence, Dart's completed 61.7 percent of his passes with a 3:1 TD:INT and 6.4 YPA. He'll try to make it through his first NFL season without further injury beginning in Week 16 against the Vikings.

  • Giants' Jamie Gillan: Not playing Sunday

Gillan (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Gillan was unable to practice all week due to a left knee injury, and his next opportunity to play is Week 16 against the Vikings on Sunday, Dec. 21. Cameron Johnston was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, and he will serve as the Giants' punter Sunday in Gillan's absence.

  • Giants' D.J. Davidson: Good to go vs. Washington

Davidson (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Davidson was held out of practice all week due to an illness, but he has recovered enough to be cleared to play Sunday. He has served in a rotational role on the Giants' defensive line this season, but he could see more snaps against Washington due to the absence of Rakeem Nunez-Roches (ankle).

  • Giants' Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles: Active for Week 15

Flannigan-Fowles (illness/neck) is active for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Flannigan-Fowles opened Week 15 prep with back-to-back full practices before not participating in Friday's session due to an illness. He has been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups, but he'll likely lose his starting spot to Darius Muasau, who was activated from injured reserve Saturday after missing the Giants' past four games due to an ankle injury.

  • Giants' Darius Muasau: Cleared to return Week 15

Muasau (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against Washington, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Muasau was activated from injured reserve Saturday, and the second-year pro has been officially cleared to return from a four-game absence due to an ankle injury. His return will likely result in Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (illness/neck) reverting to a rotational role at inside linebacker.

  • Giants' Dexter Lawrence: Cleared to play vs. Washington

Lawrence (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Lawrence popped up on Friday's injury report due to a hamstring issue, but he has been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups. The 2019 first-rounder has accumulated 24 tackles (10 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and three pass defenses (one interception) through 13 regular-season games.

  • Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Not cleared to play Week 15

Olszewski (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Olszewski earned the questionable tag for Week 15 after logging a full practice Friday, but it appears he has not progressed through the league's concussion protocol enough to be cleared to play Sunday. In his absence, the Giants will likely turn to Deonte Banks and Devin Singletary for return duties on kickoffs and punts. Olszewski's next opportunity to play is Week 16 against the Vikings on Sunday, Dec. 21.

  • Giants' Russell Wilson: Emergency QB again

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders, but he will be available as the emergency third quarterback, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Wilson has bounced between being the backup and third quarterback in New York, depending on the health of Jaxson Dart. With both Dart and Jameis Winston ready to suit up Sunday, Wilson will be inactive against the Commanders but will remain eligible to enter the game if both of his teammates are injured or ejected.

  • Giants' Joshua Ezeudu: Won't return for Week 15

Ezeudu (calf) was not activated from injured reserve Saturday and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Ezeudu was cleared to return to practice Wednesday, and while he was a full practice participant during Week 15 prep, he's not quite ready to make his 2025 regular-season debut. His next opportunity to do so is Week 16 against the Vikings on Sunday, Dec. 21.
