Alex Wilson: Announces retirement

Wilson announced his retirement from baseball Tuesday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

The 33-year-old pitched in the majors for parts of seven season for the Red Sox, Tigers and Brewers. He'll retire with five career saves and a 3.44 ERA across 332 major-league innings.
