Astros' Joey Loperfido: Hitting bench Monday

Loperfido is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Pirates.

Loperfido will take a seat in the series opener with Pittsburgh, paving the way for Trey Cabbage to pick up a start in right field against Pirates righty Paul Skenes. Since being recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land on June 21, Loperfido has mustered a lowly .179/.253/.313 slash line over 23 games.
