Blue Jays' Jake Lamb: DFA'd Thursday

Lamb was designated for assignment Thursday by the Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old will either report to Triple-A Buffalo or be released. He had struggled to a .129 batting average in September while only hitting three extra-base hits in 31 at-bats. The move clears space for the return of Breyvic Valera from the COVID-related injured list Thursday.
