Morales is 11-for-30 (.367) with two home runs and a 1.091 OPS through 12 Grapefruit League games.

He was brought to Toronto to replace Edwin Encarnacion; however, by no means should Morales' fantasy value be based on a comparison to the former. Mitigating the loss of Encarnacion is practically impossible, but Morales was arguably the best option on the market this offseason. Since 2009, the 33-year-old has displayed offensive prowess worthy of respect. Morales peppers hits all over the diamond, makes above-average contact and owns a ridiculous .300 batting average with runners in scoring position over the past seven seasons combined. Now living in one of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in MLB, Morales has a legitimate chance to challenge some of his career-best numbers. If one wants to nitpick, slightly dropping Morales' value due to his lack of position eligibility would be fair.
