Braves' Jeff Mathis: Outrighted to Triple-A

Mathis was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.

Mathis was designated for assignment by Atlanta on Wednesday, and he'll remain in the organization after he went unclaimed on waivers. Mathis went hitless with five strikeouts in nine at-bats during his time in the majors this year.
