Braun (calf) will take flyballs during batting practice Thursday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The Brewers continue to bring back their star outfielder slowly after landing on the disabled list with another calf injury in late May. The team isn't going to plan a rehab stint until after he clears this hurdle in his recovery process, although manager Craig Counsell did say that they're "hoping for some pretty good feedback" following the session. Things should become clearer once Braun completes the day's activities, but in the meantime, look for some combination of Hernan Perez, Eric Thames and Lewis Brinson to pick up starts in left field in his stead.
