Dan Jennings: Elects free agency

Jennings has elected free agency, Brittany Ghiroli of The Athletic reports.

He was recently designated for assignment by the Nationals, which was not to his liking, so he will hope a better opportunity emerges on the open market. He had some success with the Brewers last season, but would be confined to a low-leverage role no matter where he latches on.
