Dodgers' Jake Reed: Clears waivers, outrighted

Reed cleared waivers and was outrighted Monday to Triple-A Oklahoma City, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

The Dodgers booted Reed off the 40-man roster Saturday after he yielded six earned runs while recording only two outs in his first appearance of the season in Friday's blowout loss to the Cubs. The 30-year-old right-hander has logged only 27.1 career innings at the MLB level.
