Ryan (elbow) underwent successful Tommy John surgery Aug. 25, per MLB.com.
Ryan suffered a UCL strain in a start against Pittsburgh on Aug. 11. The right-hander has a small chance of returning to action late in 2025, but he'll more likely need to wait until 2026 to toe a major-league mound again.
