Franchy Cordero: Cut loose by Baltimore

Cordero was released by the Orioles on Monday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Cordero crushed the ball this spring but still wasn't able to convince the O's he was worth carrying on their Opening Day roster. It does sound like there's a good chance he'll be re-signed to a minor-league deal.
