James Marvel: Cut by Texas

The Rangers released Marvel on Sunday.

Marvel's stint with the Texas organization lasted just over a month after he signed a minor-league deal with the Rangers on May 7. He made six starts for Triple-A Round Rock and was lit up to the tune of a 7.88 ERA and 2.12 WHIP across 24 innings.
