Marvel signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies on Friday.

Marvel's lone big-league action to date came in 2019, when he posted an 8.31 ERA and 1.79 WHIP across 17.1 innings with Pittsburgh. He's expected to open the 2022 season as a member of the Triple-A Lehigh Valley rotation.
